Some months back, a colleague of mine, a lady in her thirties, asked if I was having relationship problems. Her advice was, because girls should look after themselves while they're young, I ought to keep a lookout for other guys. But of course, without letting my boyfriend know.
It kind of makes sense in a cruel way, yet I felt that something was wrong though I couldn't put my finger on what.
Recently, I realised. It would be hard to find a new nice guy like that, because no honorable guy would go after a girl who's attached.
Hmm.
